Well.. how do you describe a pitching event where suits are forbidden, held in a metal rubbish dump-yard with fire-spitting machines? Probably the most unique and cool start-up event in Europe, with more than 120 startups from all over Europe and the Middle East. Endless tutoring sessions… pitching contests and talking to investors looking for the next tech-disruption. Probably the only place where you can see millionaires walking around with mudded shoes and in T-shirts.
Also very unique is the 3 minutes pitching restriction, which gets the best out of the founders, since they really need to find a way to pack their pitch on their “walk the plank” journey.
Awesome mentoring sessions, as we were particularly intrigued by the German cloud market, as one of the most interesting markets for distributing the VapourApps private cloud.
Congratulations to Sorry-as-a-Service (https://sorryasaservice.com/), for the great pitch and for winning the contest. We look forward to collaborate with you guys!
